In theory, yes. It made corporate funding of politics a first amendment right. Foreign money is all over corporations, as is influence. Given the case itself, I’m sure that wasn’t at all on the minds of the judges, but in theory they did allow foreign countries a way to fund and direct funding to US political parties in a relatively easy way.

If anyone could do it it’d be Trump, but it’s unclear how he would. It also still marginally benefits him. If he were to do anything about it, it’d probably be indirectly, while leaving the decision itself intact, such as somehow barring all foreign ownership in media corporations and things like that.
He technically benefits from the decision too, so it’s tricky. If he could plug the hole left by the legal lack of foresight in allowing foreign governments to have so much investment and control of key institutions in America, that would take care of a lot of it.
His 230 push against social media companies would go a long way too. Twitter, Google, Facebook, and Reddit are basically advertising companies. They cannot successfully operate without their protection as online platforms. Were they to lose that protection, that’d topple them financially. Or, they’d be forced into honestly, which would topple their influence, which is basically the same thing.
Both of those would be a good start to undoing the damage of the decision. In theory it’s not that bad of a decision if corporations it pertains too are American owned, operated, and free of foreign influence of any kind. In practice, however, that applies to almost no corporation of note.

Being someone in the Bay that works with all these companies, I’d estimate about 20-30% of their workforce that does the meaningful work is conservative, but we’d all be lynched if we said that or indicated it. 20-30% does not care much at all, and/or differs authority on political matters to their crazy violent SJW spouse, or fellow SJW loud mouthed employees that are more articulate than they are because if they didn’t know how to manipulate people they’d have no job. The remainder are hyper loud leftist types that have made up diversity style jobs and thereafter rule the show because of that.
Other companies aren’t much better, usually relying on 19-21 year old ‘social media manager’ studies majors to essentially operate their instant public printing presses to the world. The children are running the show for the most part because the adults are too busy working and funding it all with meaningful work.
As a more positive note on this situation, the people being laid off in their companies are usually more towards the diversity hire made up job folks. Most people are surprised to find that when they took over their ‘duties’, not much changed about their workout. Bay Area housing prices are also looking to improve a little because companies like Twitter are no longer requiring people to come in to work. SF prices dropped 10% from that announcement alone. The $2mil+ houses out here are always amusing to people like me that have been here a while because most of the Bay was basically low end suburbs and ghetto city areas before all the tech nonsense. We’d all march them off a cliff if we could.
