I noticed many police scanner app down during the riots - could just have been the demand/performance - app was up but stream was down. Not sure if these jam individual nodes or just the unique freq. per device. Illegal regardless.
Jamming police communications is a Federal crime, and doing it as part of a larger crime is racketeering, collusion, and conspiracy (one guy scanning, another guy jamming).
