I commute north/south down I-35 often to see family, and I have been seeing dozens of these white Mercedes sprinter vans, packed with people, and always driven by some homeless looking stoner in a cut-off black t-shirt with a bandana around their neck.

Not only do I want minorities to have guns, I want to have any kind of gun they want and be able to get a CCW to be able to carry their gun wherever they want. Can you imagine the amount of gang shootings that will go down because anybody can get a legal CCW in CA? Gang bangers will have to move more of their shootouts into the hills just like regular people.
This! I always get so much flack for saying that all law-abiding citizens should be trained and armed. There is no better way to protect your rights and life than to be weaponized, not victimized. Those in minority groups should be the first ones in line wanting to get armed.
My husband and I have taken so many of our friends of all races to the range to get a feel for shooting, train them, and help them pick out their first firearm. Every single one has gone from either being hesitant or afraid of guns to being owners and pro-2A.
What are taxes like in Idaho? That state is sounding better and better by the day.

Our property taxes are going through the roof right now. We have 6% sales tax on everything, even food. Other than that it's not too bad.

The northern part of the state sounds like my cup of tea, but I couldn't stomach dealing with California governance. I deal with enough of their bullshit living in Oregon. I've never lived in a red state before, but I think it's gonna be time soon. I'll be happy to contribute my votes (and my ammo!).
Income tax is ~7% I think. I’m from Spokane, Wa about 40 miles from CDA. WA doesn’t have state income tax so that’s the only thing that’s kept me from moving to CDA or post falls. There’s not a lot of work in northern Idaho and people generally commute to Spokane for income.
If you’re from California and thinking about moving to this area, don’t. We’ve had much too much of that already. In fact, that’s what happened to Washington.
I live in OR, but I'm not from there or from California. You couldn't pay me enough to live in California no matter how gorgeous of a state it is. Oregon's going south in a hurry, so I'm looking for an out. I like guns and I vote red all the way. I don't think I've ever voted for a democrat in my life.
Right on. I’ve been working in the Portland area. It’s funny because the majority of people over talked to in Oregon are gun toting conservatives. In fact, driving from Biggs junction to Prineville in 2016 and seeing all the trump pence signs was the first time I had any hope of POTUS winning that election. Despite these things, the anti Christian sentiment from the same people is perverse. If that’s your thing, I hope you know that Idaho is still a strong Christian community.
Idaho is amazing I love it, State tax is about 7%, sales 6% and property in Meridian is about 2%.

We had a group of guys gear up and patrol our downtown area last week because of threats of Antifa coming to our small town. The Democrats are still REEEEEEEEEing about it. The real Americans here appreciated it and welcomed it.
