Just another gorgeous place with good people for liberals and lefties alike to ruin. California is such a damn tragedy. The northern part of the state sounds like my cup of tea, but I couldn't stomach dealing with California governance. I deal with enough of their bullshit living in Oregon. I've never lived in a red state before, but I think it's gonna be time soon. I'll be happy to contribute my votes (and my ammo!).
Our property taxes are going through the roof right now. We have 6% sales tax on everything, even food. Other than that it's not too bad.
If you're red, please come to Idaho. We need more soon. Liberals are coming here in drives and I see my state becoming blue before too long.
