#Blexit probably won't change black voting habits much (+90% democrat). Dumping too much energy into trying to secure a fraction of votes from 13% of the population is strategically retarded. Put energy into securing black votes as much as is proportional to the possible reward but no more.
We've neglected white voters FAR TOO MUCH. We need to start explicitly appealing to them and their interests.
Sounds about right. 20% of 13% is strategically small compared to securing undecided and centrist white voters who outnumber them by a lot.
Excessive pandering to a strategically unimportant goal like that is just virtue signaling and it won't do shit to win the election.
The black outreach is more to handicap Dems. They are basically 50/50 with us but require a whopping 90% of the black vote to do it. That’s called eggs in one basket. If you steal even 5% it kills Dems politically - especially in many swing states as blacks are far more than 13% in places like Georgia, No Carolina, etc.
