I’m generally confused by her reply. Is she denying what’s happening in Chicago? Or laughing at the idea that she would let it happen? Because she’s letting it happen. It’s almost like her reply wasn’t even to the question/statement.
She is trying to change the conversation from a fact based to emotion based. She cannot win if she fairly addresses the situation so she has to become offended and emotional in hopes of similarly riling up her opponent so instead of just Lori looking bad they both look bad because they had an argument and lost their cool.
