TL:DR - this guy on Twitter does an exhaustive search, ends up finding their IG accounts and they are literally advertising themselves as actors for hire. No wonder they had great makeup, hair, clothing, and shiny new prop guns.
Well, it's a stock M&P 15-22 Sport probably fresh off the shelf and never fired. I wouldn't call it shitty but certainly not a fucking go-to-war weapon. Definitely for looks in this case. I mean, she couldn't even figure out how to flip up the rear sight.
Yeah right. Seriously I've shot all kinds of guns and if I had 1 weapon to take to unknown situations, 22 would be the best option. My opinion of course.
It's a bad opinion. Yeah: the mob used ..22s. Pistols. For up-close killings. Because they're quiet and the round usually doesn't leave the skull, so it's cleaner, and less likely to hit unintended targets.
But in a rifle? For combat? Or self-defense? Ridiculous. The most high-powered .22LR has 1/5 the muzzle energy of the weakest .223; at 5 ft, in the face: sure. But I've been shot w/.22 LR, up close, and at an angle it wouldn't even penetrate my ribs (thankfully). The whole point of a rifle vs. a pistol is to extend your effective range; at that extended range, a .22LR is too weak to reliably stop opponents. If this is your "1 weapon to take to unknown situations" and the "unknown situations" involve something more hazardous than varmint hunting or plinking, then you "chose poorly."
Yeah. Up close, in cheap Saturday night specials. They're popular and ubiquitous because they're cheap. That doesn't mean it's a rational choice for self-defense, particularly against an armed opponent. The Toyota Corolla is the most-sold car in the world, by far, and therefore likely has the most miles, as a model, but it's still not the vehicle of choice for anyone who can afford better.
People absolutely underestimate a .22 and that gun. If i has only one gun that I could leave my house with that’s the one I would grab. Full size ar is great but can you carry 10,000 round with you? I can. And it cost me nothing.
No it's a mossberg, the M&P is a much better rifle. I wish i had spent the extra 200$ and bought that instead. This is basically a mossberg plinkster with a bunch of plastic on it and a retarded magazine. So I looked again and it may be a Smith, i don't care enough to go to the basement and look at the one in my house
The key to identifying shitty optics is go to Amazon and search for "Red dot sight" and look for the cheap ones. In this case it's a $45 Fyland RS25. You know it's good when the manufacturer doesn't have their own website.

I wonder if they were paid by ActBlue
Well the woman in front is holding a shitty. 22 ar knock off. I know this because I bought one for my kid and Its been in gun safe for years now.

Buy a real AR and a 22 conversion BCG.
You give me a .22 and I will fuck anyone up. Light, less recoil, accuracy, consistency. I think people underestimate the 22
Stop shooting me with that, it tickles!
One in the ear. That’ll do it.
It penetrates ribs easily... so a shot in the chest will convert your ribcage into a hand grenade... not very good for your organs.
As I've said before, it takes an ice cream scoop out of your target. If you're shooting at someone's toes, you got other problems.

No single caliber does more killing. 🤷♂️

I love them.

Protip: Only run copper washed/jacketed ammo through it though. Lead ammo will foul the gas port over time, and that is a flaming bitch to clean out.
Also, even if you're LARPing close your ejection port cover
Truth. Minimags.

Great post, great thread
All the world's a stage
That woman is carrying a .22 cal. and notice her sights.
Don't quote me, but the front sight might also be backwards. Hard to tell.

Does she not know she is literally giving a NAZI salute?
Holy shit, the beta cuck Viking motorcyclist who tweeted all of that is a power bottom worthy of review in Xir's own right 🤣
