I suspect the sudden need to compare these scum with nazis is actually a deliberate effort being coordinated by hostile actors imbedded in our communities with the sole mission of managing where public mood.
There is a reason 80 years later the hostile elite put so much effort in demonizing nazis and it has nothing to do with them being genuinely quintessential evil—quite the opposite.
