We aren't taking any ownership of Antifa by calling them Nazis, because we are not associated with Nazis in any way. Nazis were just as bad as their communist rivals, and Antifa and the Democrats have more in common with both of those totalitarian ideologies than they do with our Republic.
If you look at the ideology and tactics they support, Antifa lines up quite well with the Nazis. They don't promote themselves as openly white supremacist, but they are almost exclusively white. They participated in the rioting, but they were simply using the premise of the riots (George Floyd's death) to create civil unrest, which aligns with their goal of using anarchy to bring down society and capitalism.
