One of the best German performing units in ww2 was Turkish. Also, fascism's belief in eugenics was a big thing. Both were actually really popular in the western countries, as well: Nazi rallies were in dc in the 20s, and eugenics, in its own way, has survived, but in a more cozy appearance.
