George Floyd and Derek Chauvin, the former police officer charged with killing Floyd, worked security at the same local club for much of the year before their fatal encounter on a Minneapolis street last week.
Outside the club — which burned down last week as protests against police violence flared into civil unrest — she'd meet with Chauvin after each shift.
ENR also looks like a money laundering operation. Part of that laundry operation appears to involve counterfeit currency. This enterprise, writ large, looks like the answer to ‘how’ a U.S. agency infiltrated the background criminal network in Minnesota to watch and monitor for domestic threats. So there are layers to what is visible and a myriad of interests involved.
But, I haven't found the human trafficking angle.
I can't substantiate the "hit", but Chauvin was not the first officer on the scene, and Floyd HAD BEEN SUBDUED:
At some point, officers Chauvin and Thao arrived at the scene in a separate squad. The officers tried several times to get Floyd into the back seat of a squad by “pushing him from the driver’s side,” the charges said, adding that Floyd “repeatedly said that he could not breathe.”
8:19 p.m. Chauvin pulled Floyd out of the squad and he “went to the ground” facedown while still handcuffed. Kueng held onto Floyd’s back while Lane restrained his legs and Chauvin placed his left knee on Floyd’s neck.
