https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Sandra_Bland

An initial toxicology report released by the Harris County medical examiner's office found "a remarkably high concentration" of THC for someone who had been in jail for three days, leading to speculation that Bland may have had access to marijuana while in jail. Waller County assistant district attorney, Warren Diepraam said that it was more likely that Bland had ingested a very large amount of marijuana prior to her arrest. A toxicologist for the Tarrant County medical examiner's office agreed, indicating a THC level as high as Bland's suggests she "either had access to the drug in jail or she was a consistent user of the drug and her body had accumulated THC to the point that it was slowly releasing it over time." But he added: "I have never seen a report in the literature or from any other source of residual THC that high three days after someone stops using the drug."[43][44]

Texas Senate Bill 1849, also known as the Sandra Bland Act, went into effect on September 1, 2017, and mandated change to corrections and police policy when dealing with those with substance abuse or mental health concerns. S.B. 1849 "requires de-escalation training for police officers and mandates county jails divert people with mental health and substance abuse issues toward treatment, makes it easier for defendants to receive a personal bond if they have a mental illness or intellectual disability, and requires that independent law enforcement agencies investigate jail deaths".[78]

A shot of THC oil, then put her in a position where her breathing stops, and it looks like suicide. Then cover it up with legislative virtue-signaling.

I'm somewhat of an expert when it comes to THC... The results of a high dose of THC is Happy, Hungry and Sleepy in that order...no more. You cannot overdose from weed man, give one example ever....I'll wait.

Never suggested she "overdosed on weed" - I suggested that the THC made her susceptible to strangling on "a plastic bag" because she was too "sleepy" to do anything about it. And THC in her system was arguable as an "accident", except for the ME who questioned the levels in her blood.

If the old guard Republicans cant get over the old refer madness mindset, you will never reach the younger generation of voters. Weed is not evil, not great but not evil.

Just read that and it was definitely suicide, I may dont agree how the police handle her but she was fucked up on drugs even before the incident. And people were idiots assuming it was a homicide instead of a suicide.

I included the two quotes for a reason. If a seasoned medical examiner cannot explain something, it needs to be looked at again. Unusual deaths are just that. I'm just giving you my summary. THC suppresses a lot of functions in the body, some of that in the respiratory system. I am not finding the linking description of that effect. But that's my humble opinion.

There were and are a lot of unaswered questions...

It is nearly equally likely she was killed as she committed suicide out of despair.

Sketch LE area with no real honesty involved.

New great start in life went terribly wrong with police stop.

Stalemate unless something somewhere gets leaked or comes out to tilt the scales.
