People love “cops” and more recently “live PD”. The general law abiding public likes to watch how stupid criminals really are and get a better respect for how hard it is to work in law enforcement.
It’s a very popular TV show. There’s a lot of money to be made from another network buying up all the rights and resuming it once this shitshow is over. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if that were the case. It’s happened before with other cancelled TV shows.
Cops and Live PD showed the reality of the criminals the police deal with on a daily basis. The struggles the police face in apprehending dangerous criminals. This has nothing to do with the shows being insensitive to viewers, and everything to do with more censorship of reality. I often invite liberals to spend some time on liveleak, it really paints a different picture of reality when things aren’t censored.
I think the show will come back eventually. This shit is red pilling a ton of people I am sure. Even if people don't like Trump, they still want police around and watch such shows. This will red pill them.
Nooooooo! I binge watched 20 seasons last year. And holy crap policing has become so much more gentile in those years.
The show "you are under arrest" is on Netflix and is amazing if you love tanked 1980s Canadians.

Yes because the show showing how law enforcement works, how difficult it is, and gives examples of good and bad pd work is clearly the problem
