Polling had black support of trump at 25-30% in 2016 and Trump got 8% of the black vote. The same percentage Republicans always get. Don't confuse that 8% being more vocal on twitter for actual broad support for conservatism among black people.
Yeah he's not getting 20 or anything like that. That would be great, but its not realistic at all. There were a couple outlier polls that had him at 30% or so, but those are contradicted by the vast majority of them. With P. Diddy and Kanye and a few others making the case though (against Dems at least if not entirely pro-Trump) something like 12 or 13 might happen, which would still be yuge and likely lead to a win
Several key Dem states flip red with just 15% of the black vote. Enough for landslide territory. Trump only needs to convert half of those supporting him into votes and he handily wins.
Latest Rasmussen poll put him at 41% net approval from black likely voters, 25% strong approval. But just because they approve doesn’t mean they intend to vote for him.
Still, anything above the 8% he got in 2016 is bad for the Dems.
