And to think. This is the next generation that’s going to run our country.......(sigh)

Mid-twenties here, my old college friends went full commie but dammit I won’t let my generation screw it all up for the rest of us

PaigeAshley 101 points ago +101 / -0

Same age as you and very MAGA. Yet my friends are also conservative, but they are starting to slide into a liberal mindset. I blame social media and cancel culture on the change I see in them, and a unwillingness to stand their ground and I saw two of them posting the BLM square on instagram the other day.

Feels bad man. Gotta keep the energy high and the red pills flowing.

Thank you. :) I will, and they all said they are voting for POTUS, so that's at least good news.

Ctznsnips 27 points ago +27 / -0

I myself went through that phase, but there was no social media to exacerbate it. Once you have kids and have actually had to work for a living it quickly dies.

10
AngelMark 10 points ago +10 / -0

Even if u don't have kids. 20s is the time to grow up and get your shit together and Get a job be responsible for yourself. I was on my own 3 months after college graduation.

7
Mynamesprivate 7 points ago +7 / -0

Social media is also addicting, why would anyone want to turn off the validation and high by disagreeing?

6
AngelMark 6 points ago +6 / -0

Except for Win social media is cancer!

5
Destineed369 5 points ago +5 / -0

The amount of ignorance i see in these kids, and myself at that age is disturbing. Im mid 30s and my wonderful gf is about to turn 25, and it blows my mind the difference in our level of personal responsibility. As the saying goes if your not a liberal at 20 you have no heart....if your not a conservative at 35/40 you have no brain.

It seems to me that our conciousness is constantly running various itterations of that calculate in a way our reality, based on input from senses, memory, logic and instinct. When i was young my mind just had not ran enough iterations of this calculation to come up with a suitable reality, so my mind would use emotions to fill in the blanks and get a functional outcome so i could make it to the next calculation. Im sorry i know this sounds kinda nutty but hopefully some will get it.

4
AngelMark 4 points ago +4 / -0

Parents too are to blame. Coddle your kids after college and you wind up w WEAK children who never grow up!

5
Destineed369 5 points ago +6 / -1

I do agree in some ways. This sounds bad, but i dont think kids are beat enough these days. I dont mean violence against children....more corporal punishment. Theyre unappreciative assholes.

2
Induceddrag 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don’t know if it is ignorance or a misplaced sense of entitlement?

13
MW23232 13 points ago +13 / -0

This is not a phase. It is organized, it is communists and it is huge. And it is evil. Explained in videos in another post on here tonight. Teaching and recruiting young people to be terrorists to overthrow our govt. and way of life and bring in some form of communism world-wide. Corporations, media, pols. All allegedly complicit. The People need to be aware of this.

10
AngelMark 10 points ago +10 / -0

My nephew 13 was taught for last 6 years that Obama is 100% black! He was SHOCKED that his mother is white!

4
Southern_Belle 4 points ago +4 / -0

That's another thing that needs to change.

Why is a person with one full-blooded African parent and one full-blooded European parent considered black?

Why is that person not white?

Some of you laugh, but that just shows how deep the indoctrination goes.

If you don't consider a person with a medium amount of melanin white, then why consider that person black?

I think it's delusional.

They are wiping out an entire group of mixed-race people. If the European ancestry were French, then they'd be Creole. We've got whole creole countries that celebrate their culture.

But if the European ancestry comes from Britain, then they ignore or deny it.

5
Cloudy_mood 5 points ago +5 / -0

I think so too, because when you’re young you want to see the world in this neat, rainbow colored way.

Then you start paying rent and paying bills and get shit from a boss that has no qualifications to actually give you shit, and you get a taste of the real world, suddenly the entire Democratic Communist manifesto seems like total horseshit.

I've been asking my wife to delete that monstrosity for years. She spends so much damn time on it, and with as sensitive as she is, she always comes away sad or angry about something.

Last week, she started talking to me about "white privilege." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

5

4

I put my wife in her place lock step if she just starts regurgitating social media.

The only “conservatives” I’ve ever known who went leftist were gay men. Do you live in an urban area? Urban areas are breeding grounds for liberalism. It attracts people who want to stay forever young and fuck and party every night of the week.

Focus on your goals and career and surround yourself, if you can, with people who share your values and vision for America...and like you said, keep the red pills flowing!

13
PaigeAshley 13 points ago +13 / -0

I hear you. No, we live in a rural town, and it's the yearning to move to the city and join the 'in crowd' that has gotten hold of my friends. They want to hang out in the liberal coffee shops with liberal friends and live the fast life of instagram popularity, (which I understand is not a bad thing in itself, I just know these people and am surprised to see them change so rapidly!) But, hopefully I'm just worrying to much, and they'll come back around.

Thanks I will. 😁 Same to you!

11
ShowMeState90 11 points ago +11 / -0

I am 29 and live with my partner in a majorly Trump/GOP county. It’s understandable that your friends want to be a part of that life if they’ve never had that. It’s not all it’s cracked up to be. Only by the grace of God did I survive living in an urban leftist environment (St. Louis) as a gay man and did not come out a raging commie.

I imagine most of your friends who want that life are single. They will move to the city and have fun living that “instagram life” as you so correctly put it. But at some point they are going to lie their head on their pillow at night and get tired of being lonely. The trendy bars, coffee shops, and Instagram pics with 2,000 likes aren’t a stable, loving significant other who lies next to you every night in bed, an excited toddler on Christmas morning, etc.

Too many millennials spend their time chasing this Peter Pan lifestyle and idiot Boomers/grandparents enable this mentality by saying things like, “you’re 26. Go! Do! Be free! They are only making things worse for these young folks in the long run. I think you see this “oh fuck, I’m 30 and have no spouse or children” more so in women than men. You will also find that many of these people will eventually be on antidepressants and other mood meds.

8
Nellie_the_Beaut 8 points ago +8 / -0

That’s a very sane take on growing up and becoming an adult in this FOMO, look-at-me, hedonistic society we all find ourselves living in the middle of 2020. You are wise beyond your years! I warn my two teens about the same thing - not to be dazzled by the thought of city life and party culture with no rules or repercussions - because it gets lonely and empty fast. I try to encourage them to look for quality people they can trust and a long term relationship. I get a little pushback (mommm, I’m only 17 - gawd!) but I believe they are taking it to heart.

8
ShowMeState90 8 points ago +8 / -0

You are a wonderful mother and your teens will thank you for your love and wisdom one day. I didn’t appreciate the things my mom and dad taught me until I was about 22-23.

I think it will be easier to arm your teens against the evil of the Left as they become more crazy and Maoist. People around my age (29) grew up in an era where liberals were silly and open minded and loved everyone...NOT! How wrong we were!

All the best to you and your family :)

2
krzyzowiec 2 points ago +2 / -0

You’re a good mom. As kids we might blow it off at the time, but we always remember what our parents tell us, and it pays off hugely as we get older.

I think part of our cultural issue is that a lot of parents don’t teach their kids anymore.

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Really? Cause it sounds like a hollow, futureless existence.

2
themightykekfish 2 points ago +2 / -0

That’s so funny I fled the city and all that dumb shit your friends want to experience.

You can’t turn a city into a small town but you sure the fuck as hell can pave paradise and put up a parking lot.

Cities are bullshit. It’s living with extra steps.

If you’re a fancy fella with a top hat and a good college education you do you woo woo.

Don’t let them glamorize the city though.

2
PaigeAshley 2 points ago +2 / -0

I appreciate you sharing that point of you. I agree, and won't let them fall for it easily.

And I agree, I've been around long enough to see other friends and my brother yearn for the fact paced life and get incredibly leftist...

They need to grasp that BLM is being pushed so hard NOT because it helps black people (it doesn't) but because it launders money for the DemoKKKrats.

That's a whole new low, a new level of evil that's hard to grasp.

After all black people have gone through, these psychopaths will make it even harder for them, burning down their homes and businesses, just to scare people into giving them money.

Which they will turn around and put into some politician's campaign.

People come out of this scarred.

3
PaigeAshley 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly right, and I was dissapointed also, that they expressed no support for our police and how wrong it is to attack them, our historic monuments and businesses.

3

9

I don't think the hippies of the sixties did. The conservatives and centrists of their generation elected Reagan. Many of the old hippies are like Bernie.

Many of the hippies of the 60s live here in Oregon now and are full blown communists. I know so many far Left Democrats over age 60 that most people wouldn't believe it. I wouldn't have believed it myself before I moved here. These old commies are just as batshit crazy as their younger counterparts and they aren't going to grow out of it or be red pilled.

6
ShowMeState90 6 points ago +6 / -0

People forget that 40 percent of America voted for McGovern, Mondale and Dukakis. The hippie commie element of the Democratic Party never voted Republican. Those were the blue collar working class Dems of the Midwest and Dixie south who elected Reagan.

Well, it seems like colleges went soft after the school shootings. So maybe the late 90’s early 2000s? That was when we had to understand everyone and nurture and give everyone a trophy so no ones feelings were hurt.

And yes, people who need attention should absolutely get it. But colleges turned into giant “I’m sorry” machines that created spoiled, deranged a holes who are now trying to tear down our society.

3
JihadAlot 3 points ago +3 / -0

The reason you don't see it that much anymore is due to the fact that more and more people are living with their parents or living the "city life" into their 30's, realizing that they are lonely and have nothing of value, and than realizing its to late to have kids. Having no loved one or saving, they rely on papa government to take care of them. Not many people realize that your best years of having kids is in your 20s and yet it feels like the majority of 20 year olds are brain washed

black people do not have fathers, so they see policemen as their fathers...you can see it in the interactions between blacks and police...even in the "heartwarming" (ugh, disgusting) images of policemen playing basketball with thugs on the street or whatever...it's also why blacks (BLM) demand nonviolent "community programs" (remember Midnight Basketball?)...blacks want to be guided and raised by a man, even if it's a man that taxpayers pay to uphold the law, not to be someone's (and certainly not an entire community's) parent

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_basketball Midnight basketball is an initiative which developed in the 1990s to curb inner-city crime in the United States by keeping urban youth off the streets and engaging them with alternatives to drugs and crime. It was founded by G. Van Standifer in the late 1980s. Young people aged from 14 to 26, mostly men of various minority groups, could go and play basketball during the prime crime hours of 10 pm to 2 am, and then attended informative programs that gave them helpful skills for everyday life. It was a way for young men to form a sense of community, get out of a dangerous environment, and give them a sense of hope for the future. Midnight basketball helped decrease crime in the neighbourhoods where it was run, and it was a positive outlet for many young men. It helped many stay out of trouble and off the streets. By 2019, various cities in the United States brought back the program.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Your post reminded me - my first day at college in a big city far away from home, many years ago, when I went into the dining hall for lunch, and since I didn’t know anyone yet, sat at a table by myself in this huge, cavernous room with windows and skylights all around. A group of Black basketball players came in, and walked over to my table. One of them asked me if they could sit down and I said ok, then they started peppering me with questions - what’s your name, do you live on campus, where are you from, what are you studying, etc. Then the leader asked me if I wanted to go to a party that night. Mentioned that there would be lots of good booze and smoke there. I was really shy and introverted - and I wasn’t into the party scene at all. I said I couldn’t go but thanks anyway. He looked at all is friends and said seriously “oh - I get it. You don’t like black guys. It’s because we’re black.” The rest of the group joined in, asking me what my problem was, did I think I was too good, was I a racist. I was so horrified and upset that they thought that (I’m a white scots/irish gal) and immediately said “No! Of course not, that’s not it at all!” But I still wouldn’t budge and agree to go to their party. Finally, the leader waved me off in disgust and said “c’mon! Let’s get out of here” to his friends and they walked out. I watched them leave and when they got to the door they busted up laughing, hitting each other and mocking me. Then I realized they didn’t think I was racist, they just enjoyed accusing me of it and watching me struggle to defend myself. It was a game to them. Talk about eye opening.

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +7 / -0

Black guys usually aren't racist towards white people if there is pussy involved. If it makes you feel better, if you were a dude, they would have never said a peep to you- and if they did, you wouldn't have liked it.

That said, in my experience, basketball players (college level are usually dicks mixed in with some pretty decent guys). By and large, football players are more reserved- probably due to the sheer amount of them. Yes, there are always assholes, but football players usually understood by Sophomore or Junior year that the NFL was a pipe dream and they acted accordingly. Damn near everyone on a D1 basketball team thinks they're going to the NBA or atleast playing professional basketball somewhere--

5
Nellie_the_Beaut 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yep, they were cocky to be sure. They were so surprised I said no thanks that they went straight to the manipulation of calling me a racist. Obviously it was their go-to and had worked before.

My dad was blue collar union but a fair and honest man. My mom was white collar and at the forefront of digitizing medical records. I have been a lifelong conservative (43 going on 44).

I have almost always been treated better by white people, Hispanics, Asians, than black people. It's without fail and it is to this day.

Ride it out. They have short attention spans. They aren’t looking for a long, drawn-out fight with another Jordan Peterson type. They want quick submission and then to move on to the next target. If you ride their outrage out, they give up by the next news cycle, and the news will snap its fingers and completely change the news cycle (even to its exact opposite) if it fears it is taking unnecessary damage or exposure.

But that is just the media side of it. Only these people being terrorized by ANTIFA know what is going on. Their tactics may actually be closer to Islam.

Why even hire a college graduate for anything at this point? Unless it's something for which you really do specifically need a college education - medicine, for example, maybe something highly technical - what makes a college degree even remotely valuable in the eyes of any sane employer?

The high school or trade school graduate doesn't have student loans and hasn't been inculcated with (as much) batshit insanity. Hire that person instead.

The vast majority of degrees are literally worse than worthless at this point.

degrees are not that worthless if you know which nuances to look for....there are still markers that sort out the good from the bad, and they include major, quantitative skills, GPA, and writing sample (which shows logic, reason, vocabulary, etc)....sadly, i read that UC Davis (so i guess other universities as well) will do away with the SAT test score as an element of the college application...the SAT test was also a type of IQ test, which is also a good way to recognize a person of value

Don't you get to pick most of your own electives? Most are going to be required to be in your major, but I had some "any 2 HIS courses, any 1 ART or THR course," etc. and for history you could take a "American early 1900s" course or "Native American History" course or "WW2" course or "Civil War" course or "The US Civil Rights Movement" course or such and get your diversity course of interest there.

There are usually art/theater/etc. courses centered around minority art. Plays by Black Playwrites, Black Female Artists of the 1960s, Art of x Country, etc.

Forcing people who already think diversity is BS into a diversity class is not going to endear them to you. You can't force tolerance. I'm being required to sit through a diversity training right now and have decided 'fuck it, I'mm browse TD.win until it's over', I know what answers they want on the fluffy test after.

Right wingers need to wake up and strengthen their vocabulary and start calling leftists FASCISTS. Call them what they really are. Do it everywhere. Learn from AOC’s own tactics and use it against her people.

I don’t think that works. It’s in one ear and out the other with them because they think they own that word.

Compare that to NPCs. That meme is still going strong, and it drives them nuts. They probably dislike it so much that a lot of them research it and figure out what makes someone an NPC just out of spite. Even though they know this is a right wing meme and they are taking in our world view by reading about it.

Meritocratic systems are going to be dismantled in the name of “ending white supremacy”, and it will be done in a way which advantages “minorities” over “whites”. Something which once would have been seen almost universally as racist. 🤡🌎

Why would anyone hire a minority UCLA grad after this display of entitlement/sloth from the "aggrieved" students?

I can tell you from direct experience that it is very easy to find ways to legally diqualify any job candidate that you believe will hold back the performance of your team .. very easy.

blacks are essentially robbing others at all levels of society, from thugs in the streets to "scholars" in universities

Do you not see it?! Its the collapse of the free thinkers. Anyone who goes against the grain is reported and removed from the group. This has been done before in the past!!!!

If we do not Speak up now then everything surely will get bad!!! History is repeating itself right now! As we see it and speak it.

We need to all be be kind and speak the truth. Only then are we Truly free

My friend's class ALL cheated on their first exam. He was furious so he concocted a test even stalin would be terrified of. They yelled at him online for at least half an hour after. He then went on to make the mao version for their third one.

This professor has always been straightforward and helpful to students who want to learn. All this is, is a bunch of lazy black students who want an easy grade and are willing to utilize a fraud movement to get undeserved benefits. In the email, they only say black students should get extensions. Not Asians. Not whites. Not even Hispanics. The UCLA I knew was a hard knocks school where even if your sister died the day before, you're taking that exam as scheduled or you're taking an incomplete grade.

i'm afraid the best you'll get is the right to take out that threat to a safe space for a peaceful conversation in an effort to achieve restorative justice

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restorative_justice Restorative justice is an approach to justice in which one of the responses to a crime is to organize a meeting between the victim and the offender, sometimes with representatives of the wider community. The goal is for them to share their experience of what happened, to discuss who was harmed by the crime and how, and to create a consensus for what the offender can do to repair the harm from the offense. This may include a payment of money given from the offender to the victim, apologies and other amends, and other actions to compensate those affected and to prevent the offender from causing future harm.

A restorative justice program aims to get offenders to take responsibility for their actions, to understand the harm they have caused, to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves and to discourage them from causing further harm. For victims, its goal is to give them an active role in the process[1] and to reduce feelings of anxiety and powerlessness.[2] Restorative justice is founded on an alternative theory to the traditional methods of justice, which often focus on retribution. However, restorative justice programs can complement traditional methods.

Academic assessment of restorative justice is positive. Most studies suggest it makes offenders less likely to reoffend. A 2007 study also found that it had the highest rate of victim satisfaction and offender accountability of any method of justice.[2] Its use has seen worldwide growth since the 1990s.[3] Restorative justice inspired and is part of the wider study of restorative practices.

1
Kekistan_United 1 point ago +1 / -0

sounds like, all throughout their lives. their sense of justice... was indoctrinated

to empower them to silence others...

like it was a big plan to subvert actual freedoms; thought or speech.

I know right? I deal with these faggots every day. Class just ended so I got a break for a few weeks.

they all go on to leave rather mediocre lives.

its all amusing knowing how this will be written in history.

1
shadypollster 1 point ago +1 / -0

That's for sure! I think it is mostly what you said (cali students are fucking cancer did I say that alreayd btw?) and that the schools have empowered the lunatics with "student ambassadors" and other shitty admin titles. One prick email the president of the University. He went so HIGH up it took days for a reply because the president was like well kick this down to A, then A kicked it down to B and so on until it got all the way back down to me XD.

Was amusing to watch.

1
shadypollster 1 point ago +1 / -0

BTW, my southern students? Based as hell.

1
Kekistan_United 1 point ago +1 / -0

truth!

this all reminds me, anecdotally about how, after the full-tard indoctrination of

angelina jolie... her spat with her then husband brad pitt, over their kids, sparked

a circular debate about the role of parents in their kids development.

naturally, brad was having a hard time after being accused of being a shit-

father and child abuser... we all know the rest of the story.

what people often overlook. is that this came full circle for brad and the rest of

the ilk of his breed. you see brad, grew up in a conservative community and

household. how better to rebel than to teach the world, the wrongness of all that

funny now. as we watch these left-indoctrinated cities burn...

cities and 'fly-over' states like the one brad grew up, are doing JUST FINE.

Professor Klein was one of my favorite professors at UCLA and helped shape my successful career. He's a great and talented professor and not racist in the slightest (I'm a minority, if that matters). I took almost every course he offered because even though they were difficult, I learned so much. He does sometimes have a sarcastic sense of humor, but it's always with the intent to strengthen and challenge his students to be better. It's sick and wrong that now he and his family need police protection due to death threats and he was suspended for his email that was NOT racist. The students are worse off for not having him as their professor. I'm pulling all of my financial support to UCLA and the Anderson school effective immediately. I hope those of you who agree do the same.

1
transform_n_rollout 1 point ago +1 / -0

The dean of the UCLA Anderson School can be contacted at his office email ([email protected]) if anyone would like to communicate how they feel about the treatment of Professor Klein.
