The Indian population essentially consists of different “tribes” with very little intermarriage even when they live next to each other for centuries. In contrast, Han Chinese people are practically genetic clones. If you are a high cast Indian, it is a lot easier to come to the US and care for the oppressed rather than challenge the deeply-rooted discrimination in your own country.
