I went to the academy years ago when I turned 21....

Needless to say I got to the reactionary training and noped the fuck out... It wasn't for me.

I have endless respect for the 1/10th of a second life or death decisions these guys make every single day they go to work... It's incredible.

Nobody ever talks about that, but while actual deadly situations only happen rarely, the split second life or death decisions happen every single day you clock in..... It's terrifying if you have a family depending on you to come home...
