I had to let my 16 year old cat go one month ago today. My vet isn’t letting anyone come in for anything other than euthanasia so at least I got to be there with her. For regular visits you wait in the car and they come get your pet. I couldn’t imagine not having been able to. It was one of the hardest decisions and days of my life. My prayers are with you and hopefully you can convince them to let you in. Or maybe there’s another vet in the area that will.

It makes my blood boil that they let a felon have a televised funeral with masses of people but then situations like yours and others are going on. My best friends father passed away last month, and they had to watch the casket get lowered from their cars. Infuriating.
