No lie. I was at a bar with a couple girls and bartender said ladies get half off drinks. I said I identified as one jokingly (fully expecting to pay full price.) bartender called me mam the rest of the night and my drinks were all half off.
There was one, aside from obviously going out of business, in part from the obvious financial issues, it also struggled to remain clean when it was open.
It had health inspection issues because the staff consisted of paid homeless people who didn't seem to care to follow basic hygiene or cleaning practices. I remember at one point they tried begging the rich white public to work for free because the homeless people were making the place gross both as customers and employees.
Remember the "Pay what you wish" restaurant trend?
