Every confederate statue that gets pulled down increases in value by a factor of thousands...
A thing, made of caste Iron or bronze, people passed by it for decades without much attention... now I bet most of us would gladly 'liberate' one from the hoodlums and try to find a sanctuary for it.
There's one near where I live that I don't doubt they'll be coming for soon. Its a simple small monument that lists the names of the people from the area that died, that's it. The same people that will likely come to tear it down also probably think all German soldiers during WW2 were Nazis. Sometimes being in the military is just a job.
We should make a campaign to 'hide' and 'disquise' monuments we don't want stupid liberals to destroy. Maybe we could plant some scrubs around them, or pour cement around them with a wood form.
