My father is an ER doc... he said as far back as December they were dealing with a bunch of people who had a cough/fever/pneumonia and they were testing negative for both flu and strep. The consensus among the docs is that it was here early and whenever antibody testing is available we're gunna be shocked at how many people had it and never knew.

I was sick all of January with a mystery “respiratory infection” that tested negative for flu and pneumonia. It was honestly the sickest I’ve ever been in my entire life. I missed two full weeks of work, also for the first time ever.

Antibody testing is readily available here in WI. One of the two most accurate tests, too; Roche and one other is so much better than the rest I don't see why anybody fools with anything else.
