Why it's the brand new, totally woke, completely grassroots, and bona fide "Bring Your Voice" movement!

White liberals ask themselves, "Sure, I made a bunch of social media posts about defunding the police, but that's just talk, figuratively. I screamed at my Republican dad about racism, but that's literal talk. What can I actually do? How can I help the cause?"

No one has answered it because the choice requires the courage to stand up for justice: move to a poor, minority-majority inner city neighborhood. How can you fight for social justice while keeping both your voice and wealth locked away in your cushy suburban house? Racist cops are patrolling inner city streets and attacking black and brown bodies because they have no cover, no protection, and no oversight. Meanwhile, the wealth of the world is concentrated in white suburban gated-neighborhoods or white urban financial centers. Of course defunding the police will be a big step in the right direction, but it won't work as long as the have-nots communities with no path for affluence and equity. What good citizens must do is, act locally, and bring you voice into the communities that need them, and leave the cis-gendered wealth neighborhoods that are the problem.
