Floyd was the perfect vehicle to prepare the left in coordinated response/reaction for both the upcoming election loss and a potential Obama prosecution during Trump's 2nd term.
Problem is, whenever you actually test a platform, or practice/simulate a plan, the enemy is made aware.
In this case, the left's enemy - um, that would be us - now has adequate foreknowledge to prepare for what's coming. This includes armored local areas in blue zones, weapons/tactical training, allied logistics (to/from red states), and of course fall back/retreat plans.

I agree. However reality is reality and unless you want to personally cap him all we can do is wait till the rusty wheels of justice finally grind him up. I am going to make a distinction between bureaucrats and politicians. Putting a bureaucrat on trial for misdeeds is appropriate, though even there distinguishing criminal wrongdoing from partisan-minded foolishness is murky. Dismiss and shame them.
Putting political opponents on trial is a really bad idea, no matter how obnoxious they are and how much they deserve it. It's a slippery slope.
The wrongdoers all wanted power. Trump winning re-election and carrying out his agenda, while they sit impotent at home, is the sweetest revenge. Punishing them just gives them celebrity and makes their cause a rallying point of opposition.

The problem is, the useful idiots will never believe any wrong was done until these people are indicted. The Obama Administration plotted an actual silent coup. That should be punished. I can live with Obama and Biden being shamed, I guess, if I have to - but the rest should go down big time. If the situation were reversed, Democrats would have no qualms whatsoever about indicting Trump. The government has limited resources to prosecute people. This is a very good thing. We have to pick our battles. To go after the 2016 miscreants is fighting the last war when it has already been won.
Going after people for politically motivated crimes in 2016 is wasteful. It would be a slog and solidify the opposition to no immediate benefit. Let's concentrate on the 2020 election. We have to start fighting the ballot stuffers now. We have neutralized the FBI's ability to influence the election. On to the next battle.
Wouldn't you rather see an indictment of Andrew Cuomo for corruption than an indictment of James Comey for his actions? Wouldn't you rather corrupt Secretaries of State in the various states be put under the microscope for the abuse of mail-in ballots than mid-level bureaucrats at the FBI?
