If they call it a protest they can have up to 10,000 people in close proximity.

Meanwhile I'm in rural MN, aka every day Trump parade.

Jacked up trucks with Trump flags flyin', no Antifa in sight. Gunfire at night from fun, not fights.

Don't worry, Minneapolis. Us backwards rubes will bail your stupid fucking asses out yet again with our tax dollars so you can continue to fail!

God help Michigan. Your Governor's worse than ours, and we've got ourselves a tyrant.

Outside of the bigger cities (even inside) here in Michigan people aren't wearing masks (mandatory according to our queen), I get my haircut when I want. Plenty of target practice going on all around. Flags out. I've been having summer bonfires as usual with decent crowds.

Whitmer is a fucking joke around here.

Same. I've seen so many people having big parties and gatherings. To be honest I don't even know which of her "executive orders" are still in place. Nor do I care.

Even my liberal relatives gave up on masks. I was at a decent sized open house last weekend and no one had a mask and everyone shook hands and hugged.

Whitmer is now talking about the likely need for another lockdown extension after the current one ends on the 12th. To prevent A sEcONd WAvE. Bullshit...she's not fooling anyone

I didn't hear that. Is she crazy? What exactly is she locking down? My son has already started soccer practice, things are opening back up. I don't understand.

whiskey_shitz 4 points ago +4 / -0

Like with previous extensions shes not saying anything for sure, just that she thinks another extension will likely be necessary to prevent a second wave.

Yes. She is nuts.

Michigan has a lot of jacked up trucks ... We have a lot of them because we need them due to our roads

Modus_Pwninz 10 points ago +10 / -0

Dude, I've been to MI a few times for work and I AGREE - your roads have two problems that make them some of the worst in the nation:

  1. They're shit. Honestly some of the biggest potholes I've ever hit.

  2. There are miles of medians everywhere making turning around fucking impossible.

I genuinely hated driving around in MI. The only place worse so far was PA, where roads are also shit but they seem to have very little highways, so a lot of driving is done through twisty residential areas so driving 10 miles takes 45 mins. MA (Boston area) is similar and I chalked both areas up to being so old that the roads were mapped out aeons ago.

We have very lax weight restrictions for large trucks because of the auto industry. There are stop offs at the state lines so they can unload and redistribute.

Sounds about as smart as shipping goods from CHYNA to save a penny.

My county as far as COVID goes would be hilarious if it wasn't so sad:

Last I looked, 24 cases total. Every single one was in ONE nursing home. It's probably more now, still all in that nursing home.

That's MN/MI/NY "nursing home typhoid Trayvon's" policy in action.

Only one helicopter won't be nearly enough to take care of all the commies in that state .. may have to just use it for the protesters at this event, and come back for the guvner and the rest in a few weeks.

I’m thinking of making a ‘happy birthday’ sign and going to my downtown in my Trump hat and just shouting ‘FOUR MORE YEARS!’

I don't see anything even close -- in regard to enthusiasm -- for Dementia Joe. That is very telling. Milquetoast Joe prompts yawning, not excitement.

Oh shit I’m gonna be up there in a couple days visiting my Trump supporting parents and we live on that lake! Just texted my dad to see if he wants to take the boat across Anchor Bay and go. If that’s the case I’ll live stream the whole event.
