i'd like to see folks defending our national monuments. to those who say, "it's only bricks, mortar & metal," i'd pose this question: then why are they so intent on tearing them down?
I remember.
They were the first and only protests I ever went to.
Imagine what the “you” back then would have thought if you could travel back in time and tell yourself about todays current issues.
Man, not only were we all on the right track... but we grossly underestimated the lows in which liberals would be willing to stoop to.
Last summer some retard I was speaking with IRL conflated the Tea Party with the Occupy freaks. He was adamant that it was Tea Partiers who shit on police cars and built tent cities in public parks.
Our biggest enemy is outright stupidity (willful ignorance).
It was a strange time. The Tea Party here in Illinois was a clusterfuck and divided between two warring factions and Glenn Beck was the patron saint of liberty.
Well when it was first started, there was the Tea Party. By the time I moved back to Chicago in early 2010, the Tea Party broke off into two factions: the Tea Party and the Tea Party Patriots. One was lead by a man named Steve Stevlic and the other lead by Catherina Wojtowicz. Stevlic was the more pragmatic of the two while Wojtowicz was a psycho bitch who used the Tea Party Patriots as her personal army. She was even arrested for harassing fellow Tea Party members who disagreed with her. Not long after it was brought to the public's attention that Stevlic was arrested in the late 2000s for soliciting a prostitute. After that, he stepped down and by then the Tea Party movement died. This was around 2012.
John Kass, Mancow Muller, Dan Proft & Amy Jacobson are the best non-leftist political media people in Chicago.
I follow Chicago politics religiously because The Loop has 70-80% of the glitz of NYC but it’s way more affordable for an ordinary DINK couple or upper middle class single person.
During said Tea Parties we obeyed all laws, were respectful, didn't block roads or crosswalks didn't escalate tensions when provoked. Those were good peaceful times.
It's the difference between the right and the left. At this point, if you're on the left, I'm just going to assume you're a piece of shit until proven otherwise.
We Have to start em up again. Something has to be done. As of right now these commies aren't meeting any resistance.
Yep. 👍👍👍

Let them kill each other, let them destroy their own cities. Don't give them any money to fix it.
I remember them fondly. Good times.
They where !!! We also cleaned up our Garbage.
They left the area cleaner than when they got there.
Yep

Yep. Lol
Angry and mostly white. That was the description of Tea Party protests in every single story. Helluva contrast with today's mostly peaceful.
It was a strange time. The Tea Party here in Illinois was a clusterfuck and divided between two warring factions and Glenn Beck was the patron saint of liberty.
It's hard to keep the grifters out of any movement.
What were the Tea Party factions in Illinois?

It was an absolute shit show.
Prostitution? Like that’s even a big deal.

Hopefully Chicago can be turned around.

Yep 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
They left areas cleaner than when they got there, yet were still ridiculed as violent crazies.
Yes. I remember that

I was a part of the protests. We cleaned up and left the areas better than when we started.
