I’m not sure how a president or political party that wasn’t experienced in or concerned with business could at all result in a better economy. The left will still try to claim this for Obama. In what world? The only leftist president that was half way decent for the economy was Slick Willy, and he was noted to be almost republican in his fiscal policies and supply side investing.
They wouldn't. They'd bring back many useless regulations. Add a carbon tax, a VAT, increase aid to illegals, disband ICE, sign over more labor to South East Asia and undo tariffs.
Meanwhile they would have to do stimulus bills and quantitative easing after wages and jobs flatline despite the market holding. All the while everyone scratching their heads on why Black and Hispanic household confidence outlooks were better under Drumpf.
The topic of climate change and other issues aside, I’m not sure how any of those taxes and other things would at all improve the economy. If they want to position themselves on some kind of moral high ground there, that’s fine, but they’re inherently the anti-economic party. That they claim they’re somehow responsible for ‘booming economies’ that exclusively seem to happen after they’re out of office is hilarious. I’m not even sure what they’re reasoning there is, I’ve never heard anything remotely interesting on it to support their position on that.
A successful business man comes along and says “America doesn’t win anymore. We need to start winning again.” And he’s the most racist horrible person to ever walk the planet. Meanwhile, Biden is incoherent and was told to kneel in from of Black people a WEEK after saying “You Ain’t Black”. I pray to God Almighty to restore my faith in this country November 3, 2020. I hate sounding so pessimistic, but wow, the whole world is so upside down right now.
