I wonder what they think a "literal demon" means? And what difference they think it makes. If I put on a red suit at Christmas and say "ho ho ho", it makes no difference if you believe I'm possessed by Santa's spirit or word it some other way. When they choose to lie and serve dark purposes, they are possessed by demons.
