I am in Virginia right now and noticed anywhere from $70 - $200ish differences in prices for the same firearms in my 757 area.

Is it price gouging or supply and demand?

Asking for a friend.

I had a conversation with a dealer today in person and he said other dealers are jacking up prices while they are having a 20 percent markdown on most firearms. Supply in demand is just not being able to get a firearm in stock such as Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 for example. They were willing to get it for me at their cost but said I would have to wait. Virginia Beach is a good place to shop right now.

Why did I get swindled? I know the MSRP $580. S&W M&P 2.0 for less than $459 and I will kiss your ass. Two weeks out.
