This is the same company that once withheld prize money from the winner of a Hearthstone competition because he showed support for the HK protests.

Game went downhill hard after BC, maybe some parts of WoTLK were ok but not much to write about after that.

TBC was great, balanced a lot of stuff. Most see TBC as the high point for it.

IMO, flying mounts really took the "world" out of the game. But then again, I like the topography/geography aspect of the world. But yea, I had some great times in TBC for sure!

What did you roll?

2
Cstriker01 2 points ago +2 / -0

Pyro mage. Then when my gear was good before TBC I rolled it into 3min mage (presence of Mind, arcane power, pyroblast). TBC made 3 min mages even better also with the talent tree changes.

Nice, I went frost during TBC, played a lot with a druid so we had great control. Good times, did you play classic at all?

Cstriker01 2 points ago +2 / -0

We did for a bit. We got 52 and then took a break. I rolled Warlock this time. I may jump back in, and try to get banned.

Nice, I took a druid up to 59, then stopped when my friends did. I'm not going to give them another 14.99 just to get banned.

Definitely not black people

Err I do, game still fun. I wonder where exactly this so called protest happened in game.

Admittedly, I haven't logged on in the last month or so, but I still get some enjoyment out of the game.

When I created competitive video games, I had a much different vision for it than what it became - PC culture, boring, drugs. It's a mess.

We all saw titty streamers coming though.

That's it. There's a rush to spew out "esports titles". What isn't done is to create any sort of real competitive frame work. They spew out a game, put some money out for a prize - which is easy now because companies want to get involved, hold an online competition - boom, it's a sport.

Overnight it went from, when I was trying to get some backing, "nobody will watch kids playing video games" to "it's a sport!" Kids take drugs to play, sports agencies sign them, some are paid huge money, but there's no real competition or anything anyone would want to watch.

Yeah all the big networks are ruined. Gotta abide by Xboxs SJW rules even in a private party or you may get banned. Steam is even starting to do the same shit. The only big game that has been able to keep my attention in recent years is The Witcher 3. All games are these days is a random mess of mechanics that are perceived as popular and then get a big name slapped on top like Assassin's Creed even though it barely resembles the games of old. They also love to shove their shitty politics down your throat so it's not even possible to get away from it all. I have 0 desire to play games these days because they are all garbage

Are you a developer

1
conservativefrank 1 point ago +1 / -0

No. I created the first competitive video game leagues, first tools for broadcasting in game action live (online).

If you're still giving Blizzard your money for their shit products and subscriptions, that's your fault. You knew they were a scorpion. It's in their nature.

All these companies are afraid of something, not sure what. I don't understand it. Is it the cancel culture? Don't they understand the people behind cancel initiatives have no money whatsoever?

2
fdagasfd 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think it has to be the banks. It has been proven a number of times that if you're based the very banks themselves can be turned against you. America has become a place where if you're not an SJW you can't publicly do business.

So can we hold Hong Kong independence support rallies on WoW then?

nomoreprinkles 3 points ago +3 / -0

When according to TOS, any political on game activity merits a ban. Fuck evil orwellian leftists. Deport them all to the China they love so much.

3
Konsaki 3 points ago +3 / -0

Banned for 100 years, no less.

3
LoadedMonk 3 points ago +3 / -0

Same thing happened in RuneScape. Jagex hosted a pride event in game and mostly it was people coming out to troll them, wearing desert robes which slightly resemble KKK uniforms. But many of them were banned.

2
HotMustard84 2 points ago +2 / -0

100 year ban lmfao

Sumarongi 2 points ago +2 / -0

This proves that China is behind this movement

Play OSRS, they protested against a price rally, telling the creators to leave that shit out if the game.

I remember when an in-game funeral procession was ganked by the Horde. Fun days.

Thru many years of Trump and infowars guilds

Wow has NEVER infringed on my political free speech or I never got reported. I played solely for chat.

Remember: have your own message. No need to troll others.

And wow is all about race war and playing both factions. Makes no sense to get too political.

I think Epic is one of the only games companies to not have cowered to the pressure.
