This is already common in the universities.

What's common in universities 4 years ago becomes common in business today.

This isn't going to end anytime soon until business leaders stand strong, and let people quit if they have ideological problems with the managers.

Before if you didn't like how a business was run, you quit and found a new job.

Now you demand the boss quits and is replaced by someone who caters to you. Absolute clown world.

Yep. I've been saying for years that managers need to learn to say, "So what?" Now they're going down.

Yup. My wife works for a local college. Here's an excerpt of a message the local college president sent out today (slightly sanitized to prevent ID'ing me or my wife):

"First and foremost our Black students want more Black faculty and staff at <this university>. More people of color in positions to reflect the community in which difficult situations arise could better address concerns and redress inequities. This week I will begin to assemble a working group made up of Black students, faculty, staff, and regents of color to, as a first step, create new goals to be added to our current Strategic Plan to steadily increase percentages of employees of color in a range of employment categories."

I have listened to constitutional law professors listen patiently and nod their heads as black students argued for segregated schools. Guess which students get shut down instantly when they have ideas?
