Makes typing a breeze and it also has arrow keys (much easier than trying to tap a specific spot for an edit) and all the Function keys of a normal keyboard (useful if you're remoting into a computer from your phone). It also recognizes keyboard shortcuts so you can actually cut using CTRL+X and paste using CTRL+V, etc.
