Doesn’t the federal government fund DC at least in part?

I thought there was some wonky arrangement where the city budget is actually partially funded by the federal government.

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t want to pay for some crackhead mayor to be duking it out with JW...

Dunno, but JW is not in it for the money. The crackhead mayor gets exposed and any lawsuit might help pay for future JW work.
