I think I've finally had enough of their bullshit. I used to be an obnoxious liberal but sometime in 2014 before the midterms I came to my senses. Some of these people have been my friends for years so I've put up with their snarky comments, telling me I'm misguided or confused and I'll come to my senses. I've put up with them ganging up on me and yelling in my face about how and why I'm wrong. I've put up with the constant Trump and Conservative bashing. But after these last two weeks of all of them pandering and virtue signaling I finally think I'm done. I've never heard a single of one them ever mention black inequalities or their concern for black lives. Some of them are posting ways to defund the police. I think I've hung on for so long because everyone I know is a liberal and if I stop hanging out with them, I'll have no friends left but at this point I would rather be friendless than surrounded by a bunch of mindless hypocrites.

I have this issue but it's with my family. My parents are conservative but my brother and sister are so obtuse when it comes to politics. My parents don't push back at their statements as much as I do so it's a constant 2v1. My brothers wife corrupted my little bro in my honest opinion. She believes you only find real Americans and culture in the big cities. They don't listen to common sense or facts. I just bare withe them cause they are family and i just hang out my conservative friends. Plus i live out in the country so it's really nice being in a safe area. Hang in there Alicia it gets better.
That sucks about your siblings, are they younger? Hopefully they will come to their senses one day, you all share the same genes so somewhere inside of them should be a tiny pede! Living in the country sounds really nice at this point. I'm so sick of all the city snobs elitist thinking they know what's best for everyone else.
They are younger. My brother is 2 months younger than me and my sister 8 years younger. I'm adopted so I don't share the same genes lol. They are good people and I love them to death but just misguided.
Haha well hopefully they will realize at some point you're right and wise up a bit. I hope everything going on is opening up some peoples eyes but from what I've heard from people I know they are still just turning a blind eye.
