I think I've finally had enough of their bullshit. I used to be an obnoxious liberal but sometime in 2014 before the midterms I came to my senses. Some of these people have been my friends for years so I've put up with their snarky comments, telling me I'm misguided or confused and I'll come to my senses. I've put up with them ganging up on me and yelling in my face about how and why I'm wrong. I've put up with the constant Trump and Conservative bashing. But after these last two weeks of all of them pandering and virtue signaling I finally think I'm done. I've never heard a single of one them ever mention black inequalities or their concern for black lives. Some of them are posting ways to defund the police. I think I've hung on for so long because everyone I know is a liberal and if I stop hanging out with them, I'll have no friends left but at this point I would rather be friendless than surrounded by a bunch of mindless hypocrites.

So many of us here fit the same description.
As of today, it no longer seems to be Republican vs Democrat but classical liberals vs collectivists.
When you have about 40 minutes to spare, watch this video. Evan Sayet is largly unknown, even here which pisses me off a little because he has found what has been dubbed the "grand unified field theory of liberalism".
Once you watch this video and understand how/why the modern liberal thinks the way they do, you'll understand everything they do and say.
You'll understand how and why they can tell everyone to stay home, except the rioters, looters, criminals and let a group of armed idiots take over a 6 block area in downtown Seattle and not only not find this problematic, but they openly celebrate it. You'll understand why they not only think killing actual new born babies is not only ok, but morally superior to not doing it.
Seriously, once you watch this... and I've watched it dozens and dozens of times over the last few years (it was given in 2007!!!!) because every single word is worth memorizing and internalizing, and the philosophy he describes shows itself more and more with every day that goes by.
heres the link again if you missed it in the text above the talk starts at 9:14 if you want to skip the intro/stuff
Oh thanks for the video I will definitely check it out!
