I just can't get over the fact that George Floyd is being revered as a god, but he didn't even do anything that could be construed by anyone of any ideology as positive. He was arguably a terrible guy, but that's even besides the point.
I guess even lame-duck martyrs are still a powerful concept, but it's still shocking to me. Isn't this supposed to be about the cops? In their eyes, couldn't it have been any black guy under that knee? You would think one could acknowledge him as a symbol of the event without revering him.
