Words matter. Meanings of words matter. Exactitude of speech and writing matters.

You can tell that most of the people throwing the word "racist" around (also homophobe, misogynist, sexist, privilege) don't really know what the word means.

Critical Theory believes that anybody who is "white", or who refuses to acknowledge the existence of SYSTEMIC racism (no one is seriously discounting individual examples of prejudice), or who will not disavow or apologize for their "whiteness", or fully embrace the godless Black Lives Matter political movement, is a racist and a white supremacist. To these people, you are literally evil incarnate, because you were born evil, if you are "white". They make their hatred of men, and the fair-skinned, and Christians, and heterosexuals very clear.

There is a word for people like this.

bigot: one who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.

  • American Heritage Dictionary

They are bigots.

So when people start in with their hatred or disdain for "whiteness" or "white people", or any grouping of people deemed evil by this new religion of critical theory, it is acceptable to call them what they are.

They are bigots.

Merriam Webster has stated that its focus is to reflect the popular or common usage of a word. This is exactly backwards of what a dictionary is for! It's supposed to be an authoritative source we can rely on to inform us of the language.

Instead it means a College Prof can't mark anything wrong based on vocabulary, but can only learn from their students what "the word means now." This is especially wrong when you realize Noah Webster's role as a founding Father.

So Webster's dictionary is dead to us now. We need something that isn't beholden to Orwellian newspeak!

Just do what I did: buy a an antique Webster's! I got mine on ebay for around $40. It's from 1928. I love it! (Mine is the unabridged, so it's about 9" thick).

I used to be a serious English dork and those 9" unabridged versions used to give me thrills. My grandma had a huge dictionary that she had on an easel/pedestal that was a permanent fixture in her home since I was in junior high. Any time grandma and grandpa were using big words I went straight to that thing and figured it out. They were tickled pink by my love of words and desire to learn them. Many were the times I would pick up a dictionary and lose myself for a couple hours. I'm just sort of babbling but what you are saying brought back some great memories and makes me want to search for and buy one of those old dictionaries. All that said, I currently do not own one. I'm thinking 3 easels for easy reference. One a 1928 dictionary, one a Constitution/Declaration, one a KJV Bible.

“divided to express, first, explicit institutional bias against people because of their race, and, second, a broader implicit bias that can also result in an asymmetrical power structure.”

So...affirmative action and diversity quotas. How much do you want to bet that the revision of this will have a hedge somewhere like “institutional bias against a minority because of their race”

has a degree in law, politics, and society

In other words a general studies degree focused on SJW bullshit. It's probably a community college certificate program. Some of those are legit but I think this one probably is 2 years of propaganda.
