Words matter. Meanings of words matter. Exactitude of speech and writing matters.
You can tell that most of the people throwing the word "racist" around (also homophobe, misogynist, sexist, privilege) don't really know what the word means.
Critical Theory believes that anybody who is "white", or who refuses to acknowledge the existence of SYSTEMIC racism (no one is seriously discounting individual examples of prejudice), or who will not disavow or apologize for their "whiteness", or fully embrace the godless Black Lives Matter political movement, is a racist and a white supremacist. To these people, you are literally evil incarnate, because you were born evil, if you are "white". They make their hatred of men, and the fair-skinned, and Christians, and heterosexuals very clear.
There is a word for people like this.
bigot: one who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ.
- American Heritage Dictionary
They are bigots.
So when people start in with their hatred or disdain for "whiteness" or "white people", or any grouping of people deemed evil by this new religion of critical theory, it is acceptable to call them what they are.
They are bigots.
Remember the good old fashioned call to fight "stereotypes?"
Where did that word ever disappear to? It just vanished from use.
We need to resurrect it! In fact one of my College papers was titled "no stereotypes," and the grade I got was A+++++ with the comment "I have no words to describe how good this is."
Obviously that was not recent. Before 1990, in fact.
Lmao
In a class I had in 2018 we had to do a weekly exercise where we HAD to stereotype people in videos with a huge intersectionality diagram. Literally assign them oppression points based on our judgement of their appearance/race/sexuality/gender/etc
Why am I not surprised? Smh. Sounds like you had your eyes wide open already?
Yeah, 2015 was my red pill. But me like a lot of other closeted conservatives had to play along out of fear of retaliation from the mega leftist instructors.
If anything me doing all the intersectional feminism and Marxist reading assignments just helped me understand their way of thinking. Makes it easy to dismantle their talking points since I know more about their scholarship than most leftists on the internet do. Takes the wind out of their sails when I start quoting authors like Bidol and McIntosh and use their own literature against them.
Looool!!!!!!
The word is called speechless lololol.
speechless / stereotype, it's all the same now. We can't afford to let them control the language
