The acceptance of transgender (gender dystrophia) for example could not have happened IMO without the social media outlets so commonplace today. People talk about ESPN and stuff, but these athletes and such also have a huge influence on Public opinion despite how crazy that sounds. People idolize these people, and when they push a narrative, the consumer doesn’t want to hold an opinion contrary to someone they see as a Demi-god.
