What these foolish lefties don't understand, is that the police aren't there just for the protection of the innocent. They are also there for the protection of the accused and guilty so the mob doesn't beat the crap out of them. Look at vids from any undeveloped non-western nation and what you find is a bunch of people being accused of a crime, beaten to death and throttled within an inch of their lives because they are simply accused of a crime. That is, if they survive and a lot of them don't. Look at the vids coming out of Mexico where women are beaten because they are thought to be treacherous or family members of the accused are set on fire while crowds cheer. A regular police force and judicial system protects far more people every single day than the left knows.
