What dictator holds elections and peacefully leaves power leaving a country 1000% better with one of the strongest economies ever upon a peaceful transition of power? This is from my mom and dad because I was too young to remember: Pinochet saved Chile, the communist (their words... Not socialist... Communist) had taken over everything, and the country was paralyzed. Because my parents wouldn't join the U.P. aka socialist party, they couldn't buy anything because they were not "part of the people". Even the house they built was being given to a socialist... THEIR house that they built. Police where being murdered in the streets, protest all the time, no work, factories closed, inflation sky high, ect. Anyways, Pinochet came in, overnight, with the help of the USA, overthrew Allende, Allende was given plenty of time to leave the country, he had free pass to airport, board a plane to wherever he wanted. He chose not to go. Pinochet saved Chile from communism and because of that he is a "Dictator" and Allende is a socialist hero. If a commie here and there didn't wear their seat-belts while in a helicopter that is no one's problem but theirs...

As someone who managed to fly a quadcopter into a tree about 35ft up in the air and had to go buy a extendable pole and re-learn how to climb a tree, this might have made me rethink getting an RC helicopter....
No diving thankfully, I've learned to cut a disposable cooler up and fill em full of foam so they don't sink.
Electronics/engine malfunctions, capsizing, driving out of range, loss of propellors, weeds, etc... those are the enemies. Had a total loss to an alligator once, too.

Yes with no floatation they take on water and sink quick, especially the gassers since mine run 26cc or larger engines (weed whacker sized). The electric boats usually don't sink as fast but I stuff them anyhow.
I live in West Palm Beach Florida (per the username) and all of the lakes and canals around me have the potential for gator infestation. When I go to run on the big canals I always bring a gun and accept the lizards as a cost of doing business. One shot out of the water and snapped one of my fast electrics (little 26" guy) right in two. Fucker even proceeded to eat the piece he had in his mouth. They'll eat anything. Have lost many plastic fishing lures, treble hooks and all, to small and large gators over the years.
I’m a fan of the smaller to medium size Blade electric helis for beginners. With a programmable transmitter like the Spektrum, you can have different “flight modes” at the flip of a switch... meaning you can have very easy to handle characteristics to start and progressively add more performance. The 270 is a nice little chopper.
For indoors, I’m a huge fan of the Blade MCPX micro. It’s so tiny but is collective pitch and flys like the real ones. I’ve crashed it so many times and it’s so small that nothing breaks.
The larger .30 size nitro helis in my picture will break every crash.
They’re really mine. I have five Concept 30’s in my hangar, in various states of rebuild. And enough parts to build two more and crash them all once. Got my first Concept 30 when it first came out in the early 90’s.
I think the Concept 30 even came out in the late 80s in Japan. Truly some vintage helis, at least you aren't running them on the old nasty 72Mhz gear we had back then.
I started in the 90s but all my helis from then are long gone, My oldest is a Thunder Tiger Raptor 30 but got rid of the nitro engine and converted it to electric a few years back. Still runs a old GY401 gyro.
