I do have one very confused younger Airman. He's 23, and leans very far left. The problem is he only spouts leftist talking points (headlines only no substance!). You can see his programming actually breaking down when a clear argument is put up against his. He honestly struggles when this happens. I like to think he's reconsidering, but normally he'll end up moving the goalposts or shifting his way out of the hot seat. He's very clearly in the minority in our office, yet one thing that stands out is that no one stops him from putting his opinion out there -- unlike himself!
I also know a black Airman from a previous base who is the most racist person I've ever met. Calling for "whities" to stop "trying to fuck n**** women", saying "all whites are racist", etc. Regularly dropped N-bombs at work. Treating me and all of the other white Airman in the office like we are subhuman scum. When we were deployed together, everyone was out doing FOD walk. My expeditor asked me (SSgt at the time) to round up anyone inside and get them out to do FOD walk. Went inside and he was the only one there. Asked him to come out to FOD walk, he stood up and puffed his chest out and said, "it's because I'm black isn't it?" No dude. You're the ONLY person not doing FOD walk. He took me to MEO -- fortunately the truth came out and I was fine. Imo he was honestly just a BLM activist in a uniform, and the military has no fucking place for that.
These are what I tend to see many times. I also saw the post CMSgt Wright made and posted about it on here.

I just hope that what you have seen is a little more common than what I have experienced.
