Have you ever been polled?

We all know that the polls lauded on the MSM are fake news, but I was wondering of any of you have actually ever been polled? I have personally received unsolicited texts asking for support for Demonrats, but never once have I been polled. I ask because I want to reassure our worried pedes that the polls are biased and that conservatives are being excluded. If I am wrong about this, please share your experience about how the polling went. If I am right (I am), I would like to provide those worried about Trump's chances in November a bit of reassurance that we are on the right path and that we will Make America Great Again!
Actually yes! It was probably about 12 years ago or so, and from Rutgers University doing a poll. I live in the north East, so I'm not far.
They called on a home phone and asked if I would be willing to answer some questions for a University Poll. They asked about a LARGE variety of topics, and if I recall went almost 40 minutes
My mother worked for Rutgers! She is retired currently but its cool to see another pede from the liberal mecca of NJ.

I live "down the shore" and all of your frens from PA are all over the place in my town, we're over-run, even more than during a typical summer. It's crazy.
My girlfriend has never been to an ocean, and my son will be turning 3 and has already been talking about going to the ocean. We may make a day trip or something because I'm trying to save money, but have no idea where to go/if its even "open."
Any suggestions? I'll edit out my previous comment of New Jersey.
