TL;DR silly yt girls thinking they are politically nuanced. have short memories

kpop fan here.

allow me to describe what happened, in my humble opinion.

korean pop music, as a business case, is cut-throat. and its been a sub-culture of

many young fans for a long time. and it was compounded by the use of video-sharing sites.

the thing is. ive been on kpop for about 15 years.

and the reason its so popular now, is cus late night talk shows and others, tried

to capitalize on the subculture popularity, and thereby be relevant.

kids dont go to youtube to search for clips of jimmy fallon or james whats his face

they search for BTS and other campy clips of things they are interested. lately, kpop.

and so, like good statisticians, the media figured, what better guest to have, than one

that invites MILLIIONS of viewers and yt subscribers to their platform. easy peasy.

then suddenly all the daytime talk shows did it too.. cus its whats popular right now.

what the BTS group fandom didnt realize, was that they were all being used.

the whole industry uses them and they are worth billions.

and so. in order to stay popular. BTS had to instill how woke they were to this

young naive crowd. so they go on these talk shows [to prove they made it]

and espouse all their wokeness.

and so then. they think racism is real. and for all intents, in the US, it is...

just not in the form they are fed it, by the woke media masses.

so now, cus they were invited by the woke media to participate in the US market

they feel like they need to have a 'say' in its political nuance as well...

and to all that i say:

'SOUTH KOREAS FIRST FEMALE PRESIDENT WAS OUSTED FOR CORRUPTION'

but you never really hear it, cus its none of the US-voters business.

so now, here we are... and they are in the limelight.

except they didnt realize they are being used. and so long as they keep the

populists circle-jerk going... they will never realize it.

every kpop group, ever. wants to break into the US market. its huge.

and so they think they need to two whatever party line, pays the bills.

in this case. 15 year old youtubers.

I'd suspect it's much less than half. A lot of those are bots, and/or vpn users.

Plenty of actual Communists in America. They may have been born here, but they are not Americans.

Maybe just a coincidence, but these are all five eyes countries. Trying to influence elections? Random posters, or paid shills?
