Went to grab smokes today at our local gas station. It's run by some good middle easterners (fuck you, yes, I mentioned race. The good guys that love America are getting absolutley fucked by regressives.)
My wife pointed out that our clerk was open carrying on his hip.
The kid was young, and I thought it was an interesting choice in Northern Virginia to openly carry. So I struck up a conversation about his choice of arms which he was more than happy to talk about.
Showing impeccable gun control he dropped the mag, cleared it, and with perfect trigger discipline showed it to me. It was a (fairly hefty) Ruger 9 mil. He told me he was waiting for his CPL which he had already applied for to come in the mail.
I gave him a couple tips on how to carry it, pointing out that once he could conceal it his extended mag would "print" big as hell. Concealment being more important than a couple more rounds, in my opinion.
I then lifted my shirt at my hip to show my Ruger LC9 didn't print at all.
He was super stoked, we had a good conversation, and we both parted feeling good. I know I don't have to worry stepping into that establishment if he's on duty in the future, despite it having a shooting last year. He knows I've got his back for the few minutes I step in as well.
Everything about it just made me feel good. And we need some feel good now.
And no, neither of us were wearing masks because we aren't stupid as shit.
We do need some feel good stories around here. Scrolling through so much left stupidity can take a toll. Now that I thiy about it, maybe leftists have gone insane bc their twitter feeds are filled with negativity and the media then amplifies the message
