Harsh truth. I love and appreciate this site. But the endless scroll function is making me reconsider clicking on a thread because when I go back to the main page, it doesn’t remember where I left off. So now I have to evaluate whether a thread is worth reading enough to overcome Losing my place.

Of course I will not stop visiting, but I think this causes less discourse and upvotes on this site.

Spez: thanks everyone. Turned off endless scrolling, though that was fun in a way. The tab workaround is as much work and disruption from reading, but I appreciate the suggestions to help.

By the way, I just joined fairly recently. Curious if the setting could be changed for a non member?

You can disable.

I started clicking on thumbnails a lot to avoid what you speak.
