Haha I just saw you were a supervisor and you should she only promoted gays and ladies.
And fuck yeah mate! Good on you! I busted my ass thru school too and now I make more than most people in my field of study cause I just got lucky some doctor was desperate for someone to run his lab. I love how all you pedes are badasses with success stories and when I had liberal friends, they were all on welfare with no ambition or jobs or a penny to their name.
I think it comes down to this: Broken feedback loops.
What I mean is, we view ourselves as individuals with the agency to affect our own lives. If something bothers us or hinders us, we figure out a way to surmount or bypass it and keep on going. We adapt and overcome, by reacting to the feedback we get.
People who embrace collectivism and victimhood, when faced with an obstacle, simply sit on the floor crying about it (mostly on Social media) and never accomplish much. They ignore the feedback of their situation, and simply try the same failed thing over and over.
As the old Jewish proverb goes: "The best revenge is to live well"
I like you. That definitely describes me and my former acquaintances to a T. I don’t even like my truck being dirty, but they let their entire rooms stink of cat piss and pot smoke. It’s fucking gross how they live and it always made me chuckle when they’d try and start shit on reddit and the whole reason you support people who offer free shit is cause you don’t have anything and want more.
Were you a woman or a gay man?
Neither, I left the company, despite the admittedly fantastic benefits, to go work in my field of study.
I make more than their regionals now anyways, and I don't smell like coffee all the time. Win/Win.
