My take on it is that every person will choose to be a stupid sheep who goes wherever he is led by people he trusts in at least one aspect of his life. I know for a fact that I am that way in a few areas that I really do not care much about.

The problem is that there is a huge percentage of people willing to be herd livestock in too many, if not all, important aspects of their lives. They will find leaders, and the most successful negative leaders will always be the ones who can make people feel all right about doing stupid shit that they want to do but know they shouldn't do. Marxism is a highly successful, almost magical formula for harnessing people's envy into political and physical action.

The strategy for dealing with marxism was taught to us by President Pinochet in Chile. Disappear a few of the loudest loudmouths, and then pause. Wait for the next crop of loudmouths to emerge, and disappear a few of them. Once loudmouths catch on to the danger of spouting their marxist bullshit, they learn to move on or at least STFU, and peace, prosperity, and outright happiness takes over.

The key to it is to make the loudmouths disappear. Do not televise their capture, charges, trials, or punishment. Do not try to make them change their minds or renounce their marxist lies. Do not even leave their bullet-riddled corpses where they can be found and rallied around as relics of martyrdom. Make them disappear, never to be heard from again.
