Unfortunately there are those first gen Cuban American that don't get it.

Have a friend her family does but she doesn't.

She went and romanticized all the "old world" lifestyle there.

Just doesn't register that is what surviving destitution with grace looks like.

Hi OP! Sorry if I sound like a dick, but it is "cubana" women. As a Latin based language, Spanish denotes female words as "word-a." Male words are "word-o."
