Happened to a guy in Quebec when l was there in 2007. Cops raided his house in the middle of the night, he shot and killed a cop thinking it was a home intruder. He was finally acquitted. Could have as easily been him.
He's very lucky to have survived that engagement. Generally once the homeowner attempts to defend themselves, their life is functionally forfeit thanks to a metric ton of overwhelming force brought to bear. It gets sorted out later without a living person to attempt to bring justice, and the living officers generally aren't held to account.
No timestamp to the part about no-knocks? Could you at least narrow it down to a specific fifteen minute window of the hour long program? What quarter was it in, chief?
If there is a warrant issued, the 4th amendment has already been considered and the warrant granted in spite of it. Just saying 4th amendment is not an argument.
Edit: I love how this is down voted despite being legally accurate. YouTube lawyers I bet
Legalize drugs. Cut crime by 75% and get rid of mexicartels and border crossings. The vast majority of problem “From drugs” we encounter as a society Are due to their prohibition, not acute effects of the drugs themselves.
Yeah, they were previously used exclusively for known violent felons in cases where they knew the felon was in the house. Now they use them when Karen calls the police after arguing with her neighbor and tells them that he has a gun.
So...they know the perp... so like.... why not arrest them when they leave their house? Unless they are about to hurt/kill someone in there, why not just keep a car surveilling the house/apartment and arrest the asshole once he leaves? This seems like an easily solved issue

Thanks, I hadn't heard about that one. Only one of many.

These really need to be outlawed.
It’s one of the few things die hard trump supporters and leftists can agree on.

Drugs ruined my best friend from middle school but I agree with you. We could save that money and put it towards treatment & addiction prevention.
THIS
This right here! No knocks are used for known felons who like to assault or shoot at cops. This is a bad idea. (And i love Rand!)
