The narrative is only black people get killed by cops, or at least that black people are the only ones we should care about being killed by cops. White people should be more used to it and outraged about it than blacks, but we’re not, because we don’t listen to the MSM narrative about how out of control it is. If you remove the justifiable cases where they were attacking police, resisting arrest, drew their weapons, tried to hit the cops with their cars, etc, the amount of police brutality and wrongful death cases is negligible; and unfortunately part and parcel of having law enforcement. It’s happened since the beginning of law enforcement, and it will never end. All we can do is train and pay our police a little better so we can have a higher quality cop so that these instances happen less often.

Why do you think ONLY black people are nervous about that? Have you bothered to consider how many officers are shot at routine traffic stops? It's only slightly lower than the number killed responding to domestic violence.

My family didn't arrive here until after slavery was abolished. I'm white, my great grandfather stowed away on a cargo ship to get to the US - once underway he paid the ship owner back via free labor until they arrived in the US.
He then, literally penniless and not speaking the language was able to learn English, assimilate and build a thriving business without welfare (the system didn't exist then.)
